Ballwin, MO (STL.Directory) Nicoletti’s Steak & Pasta has released that they will close their doors for good on May 21st due to escalating costs and staffing issues. Their lease expires May 31st, so the timing was right to end their 35-year historical business. The news was first published on St. Louis Restaurant Review, followed by STL.News.
The pandemic has created an aftereffect that was never anticipated, with people reluctant to work and raising costs making it difficult for owners to find the energy after the two years of restrictions to carry on. They are simply exhausted, and the staffing issues will most likely not change soon.
