Woman, 22, Fatally Shot in Chicago’s Little Village

CHICAGO, IL – October 11, 2026 (STL.News) A 22-year-old woman was shot and killed Saturday night in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood, adding another fatal shooting to a community already dealing with several recent incidents of gun violence. According to the Chicago Police Department, the shooting occurred at approximately 8:43 p.m. Saturday, October 10, in the 2800 block of West 23rd Street, near South California Avenue on the city’s Southwest Side.
