Inside Anduril’s $3.7B Arsenal-2 Shipyard

SPARROWS POINT, MD – October 6, 2026 (STL.News) Defense technology company Anduril Industries is preparing to transform part of the historic Sparrows Point industrial complex outside Baltimore into a massive submarine manufacturing center backed by at least $3.7 billion in private capital and a U.S. Navy contract worth up to $2.9 billion. Known as Arsenal-2, the planned facility at Tradepoint Atlantic will cover about 187 acres and include more than 2 million square feet of manufacturing space.
