Lefty’s Bagels, 13359 Olive Blvd, Chesterfield, MO, offers freshly baked bagels and breakfast and lunch sandwiches.

Lefty’s Bagels opened in April 2023 and has racked up impressive online ratings based on customer reviews.

Lefty’s is located in the Woodchase Plaza, approximately 200 yards west of Highway 141 and Olive Blvd intersection, making it an easy destination regardless of where you might be driving from.

Their bagels are made fresh daily, the meats used for the breakfast sandwiches are top-of-the-line, and the fish is flown in and picked up at the airport to ensure the best products are used for the meals.

St. Louis Restaurant Review was impressed with the operation and the process of making bagels. It sounds more involved than expected.

The owners are IT geeks with little cooking or restaurant background. They have figured out the baking process, bakery, and business model all on their own. This is not a franchise. They started from scratch, and the writer of St. Louis Restaurant Reviews states that conversations to make it a franchise have already happened.

They offer online ordering on their website, DoorDash, and GrubHub.

Lefty’s Bagels online ratings, as of September 24, 2024, at 7:00 am, were as follows:

BUYER BEWARE!

We decided to order one of Lefty’s Sandwiches as a takeout treat which we’d eat later at home — the menu listed it as “The Uncle L.E.O.” – a bagel with Nova Lox, Egg and Onion. We thought 13 Dollars was a lot of money for one sandwich, but Nova Lox is expensive salmon so we took the plunge. To our surprise there was not enough salmon to level a small teaspoon – 4 or 5 razor-thin pink slivers almost the size of the fingernail on one’s smallest finger and tasteless. We rarely leave negative comments on any business, but this was so fraudulent and dishonest we wanted to warn potential customers of this scam.
