Their bagels are made fresh daily, the meats used for the breakfast sandwiches are top-of-the-line, and the fish is flown in and picked up at the airport to ensure the best products are used for the meals. St. Louis Restaurant Review was impressed with the operation and the process of making bagels. It sounds more involved than expected. Satchmo’s Bar & Grill has new owners who have done an outstanding job recreating this establishment. It has a newly remodeled interior, a new bar, a new menu, and award-winning menu items. In my opinion, it is among the nicest bars and grills in West County. As the owner and lead chef of Satchmo’s Bar & Grill, Matthew has many years of experience working for chains and motels, opening restaurants and bars nationwide. His culinary career has created a unique atmosphere and menu that is certain to be a huge success. The reputation of this once-forgotten bar with live music has changed into an upscale bar and grill with award-winning food. WARNING: If you look at the reviews, please keep in mind that the reviews of the previous owner curse these new owners. Please do not judge this book by its cover until you try it. For over a year, Ocha Thai Restaurant has served authentic Thai cuisine to the Columbia, MO, region. While the restaurant might still be new, the owner has many years of experience and owns Ocha Noodle and Ramen, which is just a few blocks away. Noodle dishes, Ramen, and Thai cuisine are among the most popular Asian cuisines. This was a smart move on the owners’ part. The owner, Kit, is a Vietnamese migrant who has cooked Asian food and made it his profession and passion. Authenticity and quality service are his primary focus at both restaurants. Rumors are that a third restaurant will be opened in Fayette, MO, within a few months. This location uses robots to deliver your favorite Thai dish to the table which kids love.
